Julio Jones is entering his 13th season in the NFL.
Julio Jones is back in the NFL, as the veteran wide receiver joins Super Bowl contenders the Philadelphia Eagles.
The two-time NFL receiving yards leader joins the Eagles following an injury to Quez Watkins which has resulted in 25-year-old landing on the injured reserve list.
Jones, who spent the first 10 years of his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons, spent 2021 with the Tennessee Titans before a season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.
Now aged 34, Jones is back in the NFL with the NFC East leaders and is once again among the oldest players at the position.
Is Julio Jones the oldest active wide receiver in the NFL?

Technically, no.
Turning 35 in February 2024, Jones becomes the second-oldest player listed as a wide receiver on an active depth chart.
The only player older is New England Patriots' Matthew Slater, who is a remarkable 38 years old.
However, Slater has just one catch in his NFL career - back in 2011 - and has almost solely been used as a defensive player despite being listed as a wide receiver on the Patriots' depth chart.
If you ignore Slater, Jones is the oldest active wide receiver in the NFL ahead of Marvin Jones Jr. of the Detroit Lions.
The only other active wide receivers above the age of 31 in the NFL are Adam Thielen, Randall Cobb, Marquise Goodwin, Robert Woods, Keenan Allen and DeAndre Hopkins.
